Patient data
How we handle patient data.
Radiology requests carry patient details. We treat that as a reason to be careful, not a feature to advertise.
No patient data before a signed BAA.
RadsConnect will not hold real patient data until a Business Associate Agreement is signed with the group. Until then, every demonstration uses made-up records.
How it is being built
| Practice | What it means |
|---|---|
| Access by relationship | A facility sees only its own requests, messages and files. Checked on the server, not just hidden on screen. |
| Least access by role | Each person sees and does only what their role needs. |
| Masked identifiers | Lists show initials and masked record numbers. Full details appear only where a role needs them. |
| A record of every action | Status changes, assignments, file actions and access changes record who, what and when. |
| No patient details in alerts | Notifications never name a patient. |
| Multi-factor sign-in | Required for administrators. |
We’ll say it when it’s true.
We don't put compliance badges on a product before the work behind them is done. When that changes, this page will say so, in plain words.
